About Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala (CUHP)

Established in 2009, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala offers programmes at both undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels to the students. The university is located in Dist. CUHP Admission 2027

CUHP admits students to 20 full-time programmes for the 2027 session, including B.Voc Mass Communication Self Finance, B.Voc Financial and Marketing Services Self Finance, PG Diploma in Tibetan Studies, PG Diploma in Yoga Studies and PG Diploma in Ambedkar Studies.

Selection may require CUET UG and CUET PG or state-level counselling, depending on the programme you choose.

Approved seat intake includes B.Voc Mass Communication Self Finance (50 seats), B.Voc Financial and Marketing Services Self Finance (50 seats), PG Diploma in Tibetan Studies (33 seats) and PG Diploma in Yoga Studies (33 seats). Final confirmation follows document scrutiny and fee payment.

CUHP Scholarships

CUHP provides a range of institutional, state, and central government scholarship schemes to assist meritorious students and support candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Central University of Himachal Pradesh provides scholarships to meritorious and needy aspirants. Central University of Himachal Pradesh scholarships are Free Ship/Fee Concession and Jyoti Prakash Support Scholarship Programme.

To avail of the scholarship, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria. CUHP scholarship is available for M.A. History students and students who have lost their family members during the COVID pandemic. To avail fee concession, candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam with an annual family income up to Rs. 5 lakhs. After meeting the eligibility criteria, candidates are awarded the scholarship amount. The fee is waived under this scheme.
