The college has a library facility for all the students. There are over 190 titles and over 7000 volumes of various Engineering and non-engineering books in the libraries which cater to the needs of students. Besides this reading room facility has been created for students.

The Govt. Polytechnic College Kulgam is in constant endeavor to get in touch with different companies of the state/country to ensure placement of pass outs in different branches from time to time. The college always keeps updating the existing and pass out students regarding placement drives organized by various industries and companies within or outside the state.
